The US Open 9 Ball Championship, one of nine ball pool's most coveted titles, is held every year. The US Open 9 Ball Championship is an annual tournament that draws more than 1,000 spectators. 64 players will share a total prize fund worth $148,000. The event will also require a $500 entry fee.

There are several notable names who have been crowned champions in the US Open 9 Ball Championship. Earl Strickland has won the title, as well as Steve Mizerak and Mike Sigel. However, the player who has been the most successful at pocket billiards is Efren "The Magician" Reyes. He has won one U.S. Open Championship as well as a World Championship.

Tanvee Valem, a nineyear-old boy from Hyderabad in India, started playing nineball seven months back. Roy Pastor is his Billiards Education Foundation Coach. He will be competing in the Predator World Junior 9 Ball Championship on Monday.

Many players have won more than one title in the US Open 9 and WPA 9 championships. Jouni Takti, Fred Dinsmore, Aaron Aragon and Fred Dinsmore are just a few of the top names. Earl Strickland and Kurt DeKlerck are among the top players who have won significant US Open and world championship titles.

The World Pool Championship holds the record for the largest pool tournament. Guinness World Records has been running it since 1981. This tournament is now an international competition that attracts millions from all over the globe. Since 1999, the event has been broadcast by ESPN sports channel.
