The Billiard Congress of America (BCA), a leader in promoting billiards throughout the United States, is the place to go if you are a player or just a fan. It is headquartered in Broomfield, Colorado, and has a presence in Atlanta, Georgia. The BCA, as an organization, is involved in all aspects of the sport and has played a major role in the promotion and development of 3-Cushion billiards and snooker.
BCA also serves as a governing body, providing input and oversight on tournament rules and specifications. BCA plays a crucial role in sanctioning tournaments. They also offer educational resources and leadership options to promote the sport of pool.
Since more than 100 years, the BCA has played an important role in the promotion and development of pool. The BCA promotes pool through education and leadership opportunities. It also supports the next generation of players with scholarships and other programs. The Billiard Congress of America Hall of Fame is also maintained by the organization. It recognizes outstanding players as well as contributors.
The Official Rules and Records Book is a compact rulebook that combines the standardized rules of the World Pool-Billiard Alliance (WPA). It also has a rulebook which outlines the rules of many other games. The U.S. Open14.1 Championships are promoted by the BCA.
